On Thursday we had some very special visitors from South East Asia. They were government officials that have come to N.Z. to improve their english. They taught us how to say hello in their language.
During our literacy time we have lots of 'jobs' to do. We rotate around in small groups to complete our tasks.
Next week...
Our sounds will be st/i.
Our tricky words will be came/before.
During maths we are looking at making whole tens as well as addition up to 20.
Thank you to all those parents who have paid the $3 for the Life Education Bus. We have been timetabled for Monday and Tuesday next week. We will be reinforcing our social skills with a topic on friendships.
On Wednesday we have a special training session on 'Futsal'. This is a new game to me! We are all looking forward to learning more about it.
Friday night is the night to get your dancing shoes on! The Junior disco is being held in Trinity Hall from 6-9pm. All children are required to be accompanied by an adult. Dress as your favourite movie character and come along for some fun! Tickets are now on sale.
Thank you to everyone that made parent interviews. It is always a pleasure to share your child's successes with you.
Our local NZEI is organising a community meeting..
